The institute for computing and data sciences (ISCD) of UPMC-Sorbonne Universités (Paris, France) is organizing its 6th summer school “Scientific Trends at the interfaces: bioinformatics and visual data analysis” to be held at the Marine Station in Roscoff, July 17 – August 11, 2017.
This summer school program is perfect for undergraduate students (L3-M2) considering studying theoretical or computational sciences at university level. It comprises intensive courses which aim to provide attendees with an introduction to both the theoretical foundations and the practical applications of some of the modern
mathematical and computational techniques currently in use. Each course has theoretical and practical classes, in which students can experiment each technique with computers.
You will find more information on our web page: http://iscd.upmc.fr/training/summer-school/information/
Registrations are already open (until May 15, 2017) and the number of places is limited.
The institute is offering a limited number of scholarship grants to cover the participation and accommodation fees for all selected students.
We would be very glad if you could disseminate this information and the booklet around you.
